What We're Building

Swole Studios is expanding from UGC avatar creation into full Roblox game development. We're building immersive multiplayer experiences using Roblox Studio, leveraging Luau scripting, custom physics systems, and procedural generation techniques to create games that stand out in the Roblox ecosystem.

Our approach combines professional game design methodology with the culture and humour that Gen Z and Gen Alpha players love. Every experience we build is designed to be viral-ready — optimized for engagement, retention, and organic discovery on the Roblox platform.

Our Game Development Philosophy

At Swole Studios, we believe the best Roblox games are built with community input from day one. Our development process is transparent — we share progress in our Discord, run playtests with real players, and iterate based on genuine feedback rather than assumptions.

We're not just building games. We're building experiences that connect with the Roblox community — the same community that's already bought over 750,000 of our UGC avatar items. When our games launch, they'll have a built-in audience of engaged players ready to jump in.

Why Roblox? The Scale of the Platform

Roblox isn't just a game — it's a platform. Over 80 million daily active users log in across mobile, console, VR, and PC, with average session times that rival the biggest social apps. For developers, that's a built-in audience the size of an entire country waiting to be reached.

The platform's discovery algorithm rewards engagement. A well-designed Roblox experience can go from zero to millions of plays in weeks — entirely through organic surfacing, with no marketing budget required. That's why so many independent studios are pivoting onto Roblox: the audience is already there, the tools are free, and the runway is short.

How Creators Earn on Roblox

Roblox game developers can monetise through several streams, and the smart ones stack them:

  • Game Passes — One-time purchases that unlock features, areas, or perks within your experience
  • Developer Products — Repeatable in-game purchases like currency, cosmetics, or boosts
  • Premium Payouts — Robux paid out based on time spent in your game by Roblox Premium subscribers
  • Ad Revenue — Roblox's immersive ads program pays developers for ad impressions inside experiences
  • UGC Cross-Promotion — Pairing avatar items with your game to drive both sales and visibility

The most successful Roblox studios combine all of these. Robux earnings convert to real currency through Roblox's DevEx (Developer Exchange) program, and top experiences generate millions in annual revenue.

The Brands Are Already Here

Roblox isn't just for indie devs anymore. Brands like Nike, Gucci, Walmart, Chipotle, Adidas, Hyundai, and Forever 21 have built persistent activations on the platform — and they're hiring Roblox-native creators to design them. If you can build experiences, model assets, design UGC, or do GFX work, brand partnership work is a genuine income stream.

This is the next frontier of digital experience design, and it's wide open. The studios and creators getting in now will be the ones leading the space in five years.

Skills That Build on Each Other

Game development on Roblox doesn't sit in isolation. Everything overlaps — UGC avatar design, 3D modelling, animation, GFX, Luau scripting, level design — and creators who learn one of these skills unlock the others. A modeller can become a UGC designer. A UGC designer can become a game developer. A game developer can sell their assets to other studios.
