How We Design Accessories
Every Roblox UGC accessory starts as a concept informed by current marketplace trends, viral internet culture, and community requests from our Discord server and 5,000+ member Roblox group. We model each item in Blender, ensuring optimised geometry that meets Roblox's UGC accessory requirements for polygon count, texture resolution, and attachment point standards.
Our texturing pipeline uses a combination of Substance Painter for PBR materials and hand-painted techniques in Photoshop for stylised items. Each accessory is tested across multiple avatar body types and in various lighting conditions within Roblox Studio before publishing.
Quality Standards
- Optimised Geometry — Every model is kept within Roblox's triangle count limits while maintaining visual fidelity
- Proper Attachment Points — Accessories snap correctly to Hat, Hair, Face, Back, Shoulder, Neck, and Waist attachment nodes
- Multi-Device Testing — Items tested on PC, mobile, and tablet to ensure they render correctly across all platforms
- Marketplace Compliance — All items follow Roblox's UGC publishing guidelines and community standards
- Trend-Aligned Design — Designs informed by real-time marketplace analytics and community feedback
